Well last night was interesting! I think Jude is just a really loud sleeper but he was up a lot last night. I moved his bassinet right next to my bed and kept giving him a little pat. He thought he was starving all night long, his last nighttime feeding he ate 85ml and his normal amount at night had been 36-50mls. So I guess he was hungry!

Jude’s been having some issues with breastfeeding so we opted for the bottle for the night which Matt fed to him and I pumped. It was a pretty good system. That is something I love about Matt and I’s relationship … we have good teamwork!
I got up and went to the NICU for the 8:30 feeding and Zeke again did great. I am anxious to hear what the nurse practitioner says about his progress. His feedings have all been great and he is continuing to do great. He is having a few apnea episodes but they appear to be mostly when he is spitting up and choking with eating. So the nurse didn’t know if that would count as a true episode or not. His last episode was yesterday in the afternoon.

It will be really tough going back and forth at the NICU and still having Jude home. Jude is not allowed back in the NICU so he has to stay home. So far it is working ok. We plan on me going to two feedings for Zeke and then Matt going up and feeding him before bed.
Today was also Jude's first bath at home. He did not like it one bit! But he smells so good! Then we got ready to have small groups at our place. We have lots of kids between all of us and there are two other babies, Max and Sophia which look really giant next to Jude. We're all excited to see them grow up together as playmates!
