After being moved to a post-partum room from recovery I got ready to see the boys.
Jude had lost a little more weight which is typical. He weighed in at 4 lbs 15.6 oz. He got to bump his feeds up to 12 mls which seemed to satisfy him a little more but he was really getting the hang of eating and likes it :). He also got to attempt breastfeeding which he took to really well. I was so surprised at how good of an eater he is.

Zeke got to start taking some feedings through a feeding tube. He got 6ml every 3 hrs. He was still struggling and his chest x-ray was looking bad again so they gave him a second dose of surfactant to help him lungs be less sticky... I haven't held him yet but he is responding to me and my touch.
It is easier on the boys to have us visit during their feeding times so they are able to get lots of rest. So we fell into the routine of visitng the nicu every 3 hrs during the day to be there for his feeding. My life is seeing the boys, getting back to the room and pumping, an hour to rest or eat and back to the NICU to start it all over again.
